Overview

Alyson received her law degree from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C.  While in law school, Alyson served as a Member and Editorial Assistant for the Catholic University Law Review.  She gained civil litigation experience interning in both the trial and appellate sections of the United States Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division drafting motions in federal district and appellate courts.  Alyson gained courtroom experience as a member of her school’s family law clinic, where she effectively advocated for protective orders on behalf of domestic violence victims in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.  She also served as Vice-President of her school’s Women’s Law Caucus.   

During law school, Alyson worked as a judicial intern for Special Master Thomas Gowan in the United States Court of Federal Claims, Office of Special Masters (the vaccine injury court) drafting opinions and performing legal research.  Prior to joining Anderson, Coe & King, Alyson served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Barry G. Williams in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and worked at a small civil insurance defense firm.
